Getting Traffic Vlog

Organic

Organic traffic is traffic that does not require you to pay for anything. But it takes more time.

Think of this as posting on social media, creating youtube videos, podcasts, blog posts, etc.

Any visits or customers you get from these ‘content creation’ methods is considered organic traffic.

The key to success with this is quality and consistency. Produce good (if not great) content and do it regularly. How often you do it depends on the medium. I suggest to focus on ONE channel to begin with, e.g, a blog, podcast, youtube, facebook, instagram, etc. and post something DAILY for at least one year.

That should give you enough time and experience to ‘find your voice’ and build at least a small following. Then you can do it a bit less often if you want.

But remember this, the more to publish, the faster you will grow!

Paid

If you have more money than time, you may wish to dive straight into paid traffic.

Again, I suggest choosing and mastering one platform to begin with. Learn about targeting, budgeting, and other things specific to that platform.

Once you have that down, expand to other places.

Owned

The whole purpose of organic and paid advertising is to eventually create traffic you own.

Traffic you own are your lists. Generally email and phone numbers.

When you have your own list, even if all other traffic methods fail (such as rising costs in advertising, or platforms going bust) at least you have your customer list that you fall back on.

Make a habit of routinely backing up your list.

Conclusion

You might have the best offer in the world, but it will be meaningless until you have the right customers.

Getting traffic is vital for a business's growth, and it also allows you to showcase your products to your target audience.
