See obstacles as opportunities. Accept change and loss without complaint. Treat others with fairness and kindness, keep your mind clear, and live fully in the present with courage and self-control.

Book 9

Act with honesty, fairness, and self-control, and avoid harming others or yourself. Face each change, pain, or death as a natural part of life, and align your actions with reason.

Focus on your mind and your duties. Don’t chase pleasure, fear, or praise. Accept what you cannot change, help where you can, and let go of anger, blame, or resentment immediately.

Book 10

Accept the life you have fully and live according to reason. Let go of longing for what is absent, embrace what is present, and act with honesty, courage, and a clear mind.

Focus on what is yours to do and do it well. Serve others, follow nature’s rules, remain steady in thought and action, and treat every change, challenge, or ending as part of the whole.

Book 11

Look closely at yourself and guide your mind. Master your desires, stay truthful, and act with kindness and patience. Focus on what is necessary, and let go of what doesn’t matter.

See your life as part of a larger whole. Serve others, stay steady in judgment, and meet challenges calmly, using reason to shape your actions and protect your integrity.

Book 12

Stop clinging to the past and fearing the future. Free your mind from what others do, from your body, and from fleeting desires. Live fully in the present, acting rightly and speaking truthfully.

See the world clearly and accept its order. Let go of anger and misperception, serve the common good, and face death with calm, knowing that life unfolds as it must.
